Die Gegend ist flach in der Nähe der Ostsee, Äcker und Wald wechseln sich ab, dazwischen ein paar Dörfer und viele Einzelgehöfte. Einige alte Städte entlang der Küste. Es sind nur ein paar Kilometer bis zum Meer. Eigentlich ist es noch nicht das Meer, sondern das Wasser zwischen einigen Inseln und dem Festland.
The land is flat close to the Baltic Sea. Paddocks contrast with forests contrast with sky. Some villages and farm buildings in between. A couple of cities along the coast. It’s only a few kilometers to the shore. Actually it’s not the open sea there but bays between islands and the mainland.
